We’re looking forward to ISC High Performance 2021 later this month. We always learn so much by connecting with current customers and prospects, and we’re also very much looking forward to introducing a larger audience to our StrongLink software, a powerful solution that simplifies management of multi-vendor storage environments. If you’d like to learn more about what we do, check out the What is StrongLink overview.
At the event, we’ll be highlighting a case study about the German Climate Computing Center (DKRZ), a central service center for German climate and earth system research that provides infrastructure for simulation-based climate science. DKRZ is at the heart of the German climate science effort, providing researchers with continual access to over 150PBs of active archive data that’s growing at least 120PBs per year.
Climate science data is often scattered over multiple storage resources, forcing climate scientists to spend a lot of time gathering data from different sources before they can begin their work. DKRZ’s new Exabyte Data Archive project based on StrongLink software allows researchers to find and manage their data more easily across both existing and new multi-tiered storage platforms. This new system also provides the foundation for efficiently managing the anticipated data growth and expanding access requirements for new workflow models in the future.
If you’d like more information on the DKRZ deployment, visit our virtual booth at ISC High Performance or read the blog post describing our partnership. Haven’t signed up for ISC High Performance yet? You can register here.
We hope to see you at the show, and please reach out anytime.
