I recently returned from Supercomputing 2021, and what a great way to kick off my tenure as CEO here at StrongBox. I’m that guy that thrives on face-to-face conversations, and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to connect with customers, prospects, and market analysts at the show. The discussions also reaffirmed the direction StrongBox is headed.
I’m in this role because of my solid relationship with the extended PartnerOne team. As a member of the PartnerOne family of data management products, StrongLink has the opportunity to capitalize on the broad set of expertise and resources across our portfolio of companies. Already I’ve had the pleasure of working with the CTOs of two of our other partner companies – both of whom have 30 years of background in high-performance file movement, disc and tape integration, and performance – to compare notes on how StrongLink can better serve the market.
One topic we’ve been discussing at length is that customers are often a bit paralyzed when they begin the process of trying to move data across the different storage silos in their environment. We’re thinking through how we can get an assessment tool into the hands of customers that will make the advantages of improved data management more easily understandable to them and less disruptive to their users.
On another front, we’re exploring how we can extend our dashboard to present all the information a storage administrator needs to effectively manage the health and welfare of their data on behalf of all their users. I’ve heard this requirement from several customers I’ve spoken with in my short tenure here, so I’m excited about the possibilities. Conveniently, PartnerOne owns two companies that specialize in observability solutions.
In addition to the contacts I made at Supercomputing, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with some of our largest customers over the past few weeks. I was impressed with the size and scope of the environments these people manage. It’s my goal to keep our focus on customer satisfaction, as well as to continue to build our relationships with our channel partners. We’ll continue to work on our go-to-market, the distribution, the channel, the representation in the field, potential OEM partnership, and other areas where we can impact customer and partner satisfaction. We want to be a company that is truly easy to do business with, no matter what the relationship.
The explosive growth of unstructured data is astounding, and StrongLink has unparalleled technology that fills the need to scale in support of this growth. I see bright days ahead as we expand the reach of the product, refine the functionality, and simplify business processes.
My door is always open. Please let me know if you have feedback or questions. You can reach me at email@example.com.
